Service Rota service terms

Version 1.4 · 3 October 2026

Read and agree to these service terms during account setup before using Service Rota.

Service operator and store purchases

Service Rota is operated by Mediacorp Global Ltd, registered in Scotland, company SC820224. Correspondence address: c/o 145 Vincent St, Glasgow G2 5JF, United Kingdom. Contact rota@mediacorpglobal.com for support or complaints.

The seller and payment provider identified by your app store and receipt remain responsible for their respective purchase obligations. These terms do not transfer a store account or remove the obligations of a person or company identified as seller. Store purchase terms apply alongside these service terms.

Your account and venue

The first release permits one venue per customer account. You must be an adult and have authority to act for the venue. Keep your account and manager credentials secure, use accurate information and tell support about suspected unauthorised access. Do not share credentials outside the people authorised to manage your venue.

Trial, price and renewal

The app trial lasts seven days, requires no card and does not automatically become a paid subscription. Continuing paid use is a separate choice. The UK subscription prices are £19.99 per month or £199 per year, including applicable VAT. Other countries use the local price shown by the store. The store’s final confirmation shows the amount, currency, billing period and renewal terms before you agree to pay.

Buying a subscription before the app trial ends starts the paid subscription at purchase. Subscriptions renew until cancelled through the store where purchased. Manage renewal in Apple subscriptions or Google subscriptions. Cancelling normally stops the next renewal; access depends on the store-verified paid period and any refund or revocation.

Restore purchases rechecks an existing purchase and does not buy another subscription. Use the same Service Rota account and store account used for that purchase. Deleting your Service Rota account or uninstalling the app does not cancel store renewal. Refund requests and applicable cancellation rights follow the store process and mandatory law; contact support if you need help finding the correct route.

Windows subscriptions purchased through Stripe are sold by Monterey Jacks Franchising UK Ltd, registered in Scotland, company SC614524, VAT registration GB375358172. Mediacorp Global Ltd remains the service operator. Each company remains responsible for its applicable obligations.

Where a Windows or web subscription is offered, Stripe hosts the payment confirmation and subscription-management screens. Its confirmation identifies the payment recipient, price and billing period before purchase. Those subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Normal cancellation stops the next renewal and preserves the verified paid period. Deleting your Service Rota account instead ends its web subscription immediately, without an automatic refund, and erases the application data after cancellation is confirmed. This does not cancel a separate Apple or Google subscription. Mandatory refund and cancellation rights remain unaffected.

Your information and permitted use

You retain your rights in the content you enter. You authorise us to host, process and display it as needed to provide and secure Service Rota. Give staff the required privacy information, enter only information you are entitled to use, and keep records accurate. Staff data remains subject to applicable data-protection requirements and the business data-processing agreement.

Do not use the service unlawfully, access another account, upload malicious material, misuse credentials or interfere with service security. Do not include diagnoses, medical documents, payment-card data or other unnecessary sensitive information in notes.

Software and business decisions

Your subscription gives you permission to use Service Rota within the purchased scope; it does not transfer ownership of its software or branding. Mediacorp materials and third-party components remain subject to their owners’ rights and licences. Your own content remains yours.

Check rota inputs, wage assumptions, forecasts and calculated estimates. You remain responsible for staffing, wage, working-time and employment decisions. The app is not payroll processing or legal advice. We remain responsible for providing our service with the care and skill required by law.

Availability, ending service and data

Internet and store connectivity are needed for authentication, cloud storage and purchase checks. Maintenance, provider outages or security issues may interrupt service. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, non-payment or security risks, and explain the reason where it is lawful and safe to do so.

You can stop using the service, cancel renewal with the store and request account deletion. Export information you need before deletion. Ending payment alone does not delete saved records. See the privacy notice and deletion information for retained records and available requests.

Rights, complaints and changes

Nothing in these terms excludes fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Mandatory consumer protections apply where relevant. Branding alone does not provide immunity from legal obligations.

Send complaints to the support address above with the relevant issue and outcome sought. Do not include passwords, payment details or staff records. These terms use Scots law, without removing mandatory protections or access to courts available to you under applicable law. Material changes to service terms will be notified and, where required, presented for acceptance; they will not silently rewrite an existing purchase confirmation.
